Salesforce And The Many Things It Has To Offer

In my free time I help my father with the business too. Currently we are planning to extend the business online. While looking for ways and methods to establish our business online, we came upon Salesforce. I plan to attend the salesforce training in Chennai as I do have a few friends there. It looks like a great platform to establish our business upon. Their innovative cloud system and business applications are quite impressive. Salesforce offers a platform for business solutions which can work from any part of the world even through a mobile phone. They promise automatic upgrades and updates three times a year. They have even earned a name among Forbes’ Most Innovative Companies.
The cloud platform guarantees user authentication to data access. They have great data security standards. They provide application, network and infrastructure services. They allow password policies, security, app and data access. The network services are controlled with built-in HTTPs. Authentication is prime along with network security controls. The apps are run securely with backup and recovery.

The good news for techies is that the Salesforce core platform can be customized with self made apps along with the assistance of a wide range of tools which are easy as point and click interfaces. They are compatible with all programming languages. Since it is a cloud network and with whole lot of businesses already involved, there are several third party apps available. These apps can alleviate your need to design one of your own and saves time. Salesforce can be extended to any industry and department. Every aspect of the business such as sales, marketing, social networking, customer care and analytics can all be managed and gauged on this one platform.

Once the employees are trained to use Salesforce life becomes a lot easier. The training can be customized to suit the job function of the employee. Employees can be trained on a single platform online, and their learning can be assessed.

All aspects of the business can be assessed and controlled on this platform. Procurement of materials, product development, marketing, shipping, delivery, customer satisfaction, sales assessment can all be directed and assessed right here.

Brain Stimulation For Better Performance

As any guy round the corner, I love sports and I am involved in active sports like cricket and sometimes football. What I do every day is jogging to keep my body fit along with a few stretching exercises. On lazy days I have often wondered if there can be any shortcuts to exercise. That’s when news hit me about the role of neurosciences in Olympic training too!! WOW! Imagine if you could trick your brain into thinking that the body is exercising, maybe I could enjoy the benefit by just sitting around. These are just my ranting.

Well, the actual news was that a company called Halo Neurosciences introduced brain stimulating headphones called Halo Sport which claim to stimulate the brain. The headphones seemingly send pulses of energy to stimulate the brain. Their claims that the headphones help create quasi-brain plasticity which is quite an interesting term. The pulses of energy sent to the brain take effect by exciting the motor neurons, increasing its excitability and creates stronger neural connections. This method states that it can enhance the motor learning of athletes by instilling the brain to send stronger and synchronous signals to the muscles. This combined with exercise would train the athlete in an excellent manner.

Their case study also shows that when these headphones were used by average skiers, their propulsion force was improved by 13% as compared to those who didn’t use the headphone. The study was initially done on a small bunch of 7 athletes, then on a group of 10 and 23 athletes, and although there were slight variations in result, they sure performed better. To establish their claim there must be more extensive and conclusive studies. I’ll just get back to jogging and look forward to until they do establish their claim.

It is amazing how brain power can be exploited and how science and technology have already advanced to get the best out of brain stimulation. The various neurostimulation techniques suggest that they can improve cognitive power, improve moods, make stronger personalities and even moral dispositions. There is a lot of research going on in this area with evidence that some gain better motor recognition and are able to manipulate data after a short tDCS. It even improves numerical ability, boost creativity and control urges. It is said to reduce fatigue and improves muscular endurance.

To think of brain power, the headsets released by Halo Neurosciences is an over ambitious step. Such claims need more solid data and trials to firmly base their claims upon. Passing current through the brain to stimulate it, holds its own risks and must be validated before marketing gimmicks. If tDCS does stand up to its claims the headset may be considered equivalent to doping which is not permissible on the sports field, because it gives an unfair advantage of to the users over the non-users. Along the same lines I read about athletes who sleep in tents to increase their RBC (red blood cell) count in order to perform better. No, they are not just any camping tent, these are tents that simulate the high altitude conditions due to which the blood begins to produce more RBCs.

While tDCS and the high altitude simulation tent is still debated over the sports field, i personally think they will do a great job in the medical field. tDCS can improve brain cognition skills, motor nerves and maybe heal nervous diseases and prolong the occurrence of nervous diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. The high altitude simulation tent could be used for treating anaemic patients.

Exergaming: Now Everybody Has A Reason To Stick To Their Virtual World

When Pokemon was just on TV, the most common and fun game on the computer was Pacman. This game too has now revolutionized with Moff band, where the player has to wear Moff bands on the wrist. To play the game, the players have to swing their arms to get the game moving.

Nike + Kinect for Xbox is among the best fitness computer games while Wii Fit Plus is highly rated, Dance Central 3 for Xbox is a fun game and Kinect Adventures for Xbox is also a favourite. Just Dance series is a great game for those who wish to lose weight while enjoying having their dancing shoes on. Just Dance 4 has two options to choose from. One which is Just Dance and the other which is Just Sweat which allow you to choose between whether to have some fun or to sweat it out. Wii Fit U is an advanced version of Wii Fit using the same hardware.

Other than games with physical involvement there are specialized programmes to guide you through fitness training too. These exergames can sense heart rates and customize the workout. Wii’s EA Sports Active 2 is one such exergame with heart rate sensors and customized workouts. Fit in Six allows you to take a fitness test and then customizes the fitness regimen to suit your needs and goals for fitness. Get Fit with Mel B, the Spice girl is a great choice too. Zumba fitness core helps you lose weight and stay fit by just zapping through the zumba styles and routines at high power.

Exercise is a crucial factor for maintaining good health. There are many fun ways to exercise. There are exercises for those short of time too, walking being the cheapest and most inexpensive of exercises. Exercise increases life span and physical fitness and stamina. Simple stretching exercises at the beginning of the day prepare your muscles and release enough oxytocin to meet the day head on.

Virtual Reality Box To Make It Real

There are so many virtual reality (VR) box brands that it may be difficult to choose one. Here I give you a quick review of the best VR box brands.

1. HTC Vive: This headset goes with a PC. It  boasts of great gaming capabilities and has motion controllers. It has controllers like ski poles, triggers and two track pads that are like a hybrid between a mouse and a control stick. The grip even detects squeezes.

2. Oculus Rift: This is a top rated and most reviewed product. it has motion sensors, remote, headset with HDMI and USB cables. The head gear is lightweight and comfortable to wear.

3. Samsung Gear VR: It is an affordable product to enjoy with smartphones. It can function ideally with Samsung smartphones with AMOLED screens and high powered processors, which enhances the game experience.

4. Sony Playstation VR: It uses playstation 4’s hardware for powerful graphics. It has an OLED 5.7 inch screen , it is stereoscopic and has great resolution. The headset has a stylish design and comfortable ergonomics and simple structure. The 3 D audio experience is built into the head gear and does not include separate headphones.

All these gaming ideas and advances in technology have turned the gaming experience into a surreal one. With all these video games, computer games and mobile games, the major concern is lack of exercise. Well, the gaming industry does not plan to give up or fall behind. There are virtual reality games that also involve exercise and are called exergames. These motion games require additional hardware and game space. Some games require space upto 10 feet for all the side to side movements, push ups, sit ups and jumps.

Pokemon Go: A Dream Come True

I still remember how I enjoyed watching pokemon on TV and collecting those pokemon game cards that came with chips packets and biscuit packs. There are some things in life that we never grow out of. While watching Pokemon we always dreamt of being able to have a Pikachu and the other feisty pokemons. Niantic along with Pokemon company sure has made that once impossible dream come true virtually or digitally to be precise.
Pokemon Go was released for iPhones and Android phones. It has made the whole pokemon world come true and one can carry their pokemons in their mobile phones. The battle gyms, being able to train and exchange one’s pokemons with friends and going to battle and capturing them, is all a dream come true.

Google too has invested with Niantic to make the whole game experience even better.
The Google log in tab at the beginning of Pokemon Go is there for a reason. When you log into Google before the game, the game map resembles the actual surrounding you are located in, along with the exact street routes, sidewalks, and landmarks.

Pokemon Go is a great app for Pokemon lovers. It would be an even more exciting and real experience if Google maps could be merged with the game map, to show the route you are travelling on. To add to the experience it would be great to get notifications of nearby pokemons too and be able to battle and capture them. I am already bursting with excitement at the very thought of being able to do so.

I wonder how much more fun it will be to play this game wearing a virtual reality headset.
