I still remember how I enjoyed watching pokemon on TV and collecting those pokemon game cards that came with chips packets and biscuit packs. There are some things in life that we never grow out of. While watching Pokemon we always dreamt of being able to have a Pikachu and the other feisty pokemons. Niantic along with Pokemon company sure has made that once impossible dream come true virtually or digitally to be precise.
Pokemon Go was released for iPhones and Android phones. It has made the whole pokemon world come true and one can carry their pokemons in their mobile phones. The battle gyms, being able to train and exchange one’s pokemons with friends and going to battle and capturing them, is all a dream come true.
Google too has invested with Niantic to make the whole game experience even better.
The Google log in tab at the beginning of Pokemon Go is there for a reason. When you log into Google before the game, the game map resembles the actual surrounding you are located in, along with the exact street routes, sidewalks, and landmarks.
Pokemon Go is a great app for Pokemon lovers. It would be an even more exciting and real experience if Google maps could be merged with the game map, to show the route you are travelling on. To add to the experience it would be great to get notifications of nearby pokemons too and be able to battle and capture them. I am already bursting with excitement at the very thought of being able to do so.
I wonder how much more fun it will be to play this game wearing a virtual reality headset.
